Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time each week needs to be invested in the program?

The minimum requirements are of course, attending shiurim, two hours a week. Beyond that, it is highly recommended that you put time into reviewing the material after each shiur and at least to read the summary booklet, in order to maximize what the program has to offer.

Is it necessary to understand Hebrew to participate in the course?

No. The entire course is in English. This includes the shiurim, study booklets, visuals and tests.

Must the tests be taken?

No, but we highly recommend studying for the tests and passing them. It's the best way to master the halachos. In addition, receiving a certificate of completion is conditional on passing the tests.

What if I miss a class?

If you missed a class or came late, you will be able to access a replay in video or podcast format on the student portal. Recordings will be made available soon after each class.

Will it be possible to take classes via Zoom?

Yes. The program is open to women all over the world. For women who live in Crown Heights, it will be possible to attend classes in our learning center. For everyone else, participation can take place live, over Zoom.
